We are currently into Day 7. It appears that Saucy Sam has pulled a head a bit. All bets may be sent to 218 Arroyo Seco Street. We promise not to use the funds for things like bourbon... or cigarettes... or pastrami. |

Facial hair length: The same. Facial hair density: The Old Man's beard seems a bit more evenly distributed. Saucy Sam, on the other hand, has more concentrated portions of beardage, especially on his chin. (Analysis by guest judge Dylan.)

Stay tuned for up to date coverage of this exciting event. |

The great Beard Off has begun. The competitors are now clean shaven and ready to duke it out for ultimate facial hair supremacy. Will it be the Old Man Sam? 6'3", weighing in at 160 lbs, his five o'clock shadow has been the envy of a plethora of 12 year old boys. Perhaps the victor will be Saucy Sam, at 6 feet tall and 125 lbs of stubbled fury. Only time will tell folks.
